Spondylolysthesis is a condition where one bone slips forward on another.  It may be due to degenerative changes, trauma, or a non-fusion of the spine known as spondylolysis.  Pictured here is a lateral x ray of the lumbar spine, with a grade I (less than 25%) slip of L3 on L4.
