neurinoma is a tumor which arises from the superior vestibular nerve,
which is a part of one of the cranial nerves which is responsible
for balance. It often presents with hearing loss, tinnitus and
difficulty with balance. These tumors are benign.
Growth rates of these tumors is somewhat unpredictable. |
