Although often difficult to pick up on CT scan, the clinical signs
are often seen. There may be bruising behind the ears (Battle's
sign), bruising around the eyes (Racoon's eyes), spinal fluid leaking
from the nose (rhinorrhea), or spinal fluid leaking from the ears
